One of the things I love about what I do is that I get to hear lots of  stories.  I love to hear about how two people met and fell in love and even how they got engaged.

Sharla and Travis have a great story.  They made me laugh when they told me how Travis was interested in Sharla for a long time and how he would flirt with her.  But Sharla would have none of it.  She wasn’t interested and even seemed to get a little annoyed with him.  But he didn’t give up.  He would find excuses to be around her and to help her.  What changed things?

A table.

When Travis helped her with a table she had, she began to see him differently.  She saw what a good guy he was and that he might just be good for her.  Everyone else, including her family agreed.  Travis was great for Sharla.

Their wedding at the Muckenthaler Mansion was glamorous, elegant and practically in my backyard!

Another story Sharla told me was about her dress.  The one that she originally ordered never came in!  Whaaaaaat?????  So less than two weeks before the wedding Sharla picked out this stunner at Nordstrom’s Bridal Department!  She said she liked this one even better than the first.

Travis had sent over a gift for his bride.  His card made her laugh and cry.  He gave her a new bible with her new name engraved on the cover.

I loved the girls dresses!

Such a beautiful ceremony location.  And at the end of the aisle is the infamous table that helped bring the two of them together.
