From the first time I heard from her, I knew Stefanie’s wedding was one I wanted to be a part of. As she told me about dressing up in Star Trek costumes and doing a photo shoot right after they got engaged, I knew that Stefanie and Will were people I needed to know! These two are fun, silly, and caring. They invest time in their friends and because of that it is obvious how much their friends and community love them. Their day was full of love and support for these two as they start their journey together.

This was my first time at the French Estate. I love all the little details.

Stefanie wore her grandmother’s watch. Doesn’t she look beautiful?

In honor of Will’s love for all things Star Wars, each of the groomsmen had a little lightsaber in their boutonierre. I told you these people were fun!

And here’s the man of the hour lookin’ all handsome and stuff!

The two of them decided to do a first look, almost always my favorite part of the day! I just love his expression as she snuck up behind him.

And how perfect that the words “enjoy this moment” were right above their heads.

They are just so sweet together!

Will’s gifts to his groomsmen were these daggers. Such a dude.

And these bridesmaids were so so fun! Stefanie has a deep deep love for Sidecar Doughnuts so one of her gals made sure she had some on her wedding day.

They took a moment in a little corner of the house to exchange gifts for each other.

All of their guests were invited to come up and join in prayer over the couple.

Woo hoo!!!

I love these moments right after the ceremony. A dear friend’s embrace, a bride twirling in her dress, and saying hi to a friend tuning in via skype from Africa.

All of their details were just beautiful. Another friend of theirs hand drew all of the table names. Each table was named after a song and when that song was played, the table was dismissed to visit the food truck.

You can certainly tell a lot about a couple by the toasts their friends and family give. These were so perfect. Funny but incredibly heart felt and with a lot of depth. A great way to describe Will and Stefanie!

Yep, they had a food truck. Awesome!

I loved everything about the cake table: the hand made paper chain background, the rustic but elegant cake and  the groom’s cake that Will loved so much he refused to cut into it!

So silly!

A beautiful evening under the stars, complete with s’mores!

They exited through a tunnel of glow sticks since, as Stefanie said, “it’s kinda like lightsabers!” Always thinking of her man!

I know I say this a lot, but it truly was an honor to be a part of your wedding day. I feel like my life is better because I’ve gotten to meet you. I am encouraged by your love for one another and the deep love that your family and friends have for you. Stefanie, let’s get together with our men folk soon!
