Thomas & Suzanne got married on the best day of the year. My birthday! Many friends were telling me it was a bummer that I had to work on my birthday. Not at all! Not if you get to be surrounded by love and beauty and wonderful people!
Every once in a while I shoot a wedding where I didn’t get a chance to meet the bride or groom before the big day. This was the case with Tomas & Suzanne. But the minute I met them , they were both so gracious and trusting. I felt like I’d known them and their families for a long time.
And let’s talk about her dress. In the past year THREE of my brides have purchased their dresses from BHLDN. I’ve decided that if the dress is from BHLDN, I’m in! It means that the bride has excellent taste and it’s gonna be a good day!

The wedding was at the gorgeous American Martyrs Church in Manhattan Beach, then we all headed over to the Hotel Portofino in Redondo Beach.
