Michelle & Brian’s wedding was an emotional one.  Throughout the course of their relationship they had seen their share of hardship.  Michelle had gone through some major health problems, while Brian’s mom was fighting cancer.  These struggles only brought the two of them closer together.  While planning the wedding both of them just kept hoping that Brian’s mom would be able to make it.

Sadly, two weeks before the wedding, Brian’s mom lost her battle with cancer.

So there were tears shed at this wedding, sad that a very important family member was absent from this celebration.  But there was lots of joy, knowing that she is free from suffering and with Jesus.  So when I saw this little bird they had, it struck me, knowing that these two really meant it.  They had already lived it.

That’s beautiful.  That’s something to celebrate!
