We’re to the last stop of our Spain adventure. (say it isn’t so!) Sevilla.
Our first stop was the Alcazar, a beautiful Islamic palace. The grounds were gorgeous. I loved the Jacaranda trees.
While we were eating lunch outside it started to rain. HARD. Luckily we were under a tarp, but we watched as people did what they could to take cover.
With it raining so much, there wasn’t much sightseeing to be done. So we found this fun place to have some tea and watch the world go by.
Back in the room… this was the weirdest hair dryer I’ve ever seen.
The next day we went to see the cathedral. Here’s the head of John the Baptist. Now… why did someone feel this was an important sculpture to make? Gross!
I climbed to the top of the Giralda Tower. It was originally part of a mosque, but when they built the cathedral, they kept it.
Such spectacular views of the city.
Night view of the cathedral and tower.
What a great trip! I can’t believe I got to go to Spain. What a blessing to be able to see the world and to enjoy it with such a great traveling buddy.
I hope you had fun re-living my adventures with me!
