Scott & Kristen are two of the coolest people I’ve met.  So needless to say, I was super excited for their wedding!  One of my favorite moments of the day was when we took the above photo and Kristen commented that instead of Mrs. Boss she would rather  be referred to as “Boss Lady”.  I like this girl.

One of the things that was unique about their wedding is that they had two receptions!  Why, you ask?  Well, Scott is a junior high pastor and Kristen has been working with the high school group at their church.  And while there was no way they could have dinner for 400 people, it was still important to them to be able to invite the kids from the youth groups.  They wanted to be able to show them how important marriage is and the pay-off of waiting for God’s best for them.  Such a beautiful thing.

Such a sweet moment, dad seeing his little girl as a bride for the first time.  The week before the wedding, he had been posting photos of Kristen when she was little and saying things that made everyone who read them cry!

Two days before the wedding he gave his daughter flowers.  The day before the wedding he posted this on facebook: “Yesterday and today – red roses for my little girl to say I love you and I’m proud of you; tomorrow – white and red roses to signify your unity with Scott; the years to come – yellow roses to remind you as your dad I’ll always be there to love and encourage the two of you.

Scott & Kristen decided to do a first look so they could spend some time together before the day got really busy.

Immediately after the ceremony, guests mingled under the trees at the church, enjoying yummy sweets.
