Todd & Alisa’s wedding at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and reception at ECCU was incredible! It was a hot day here in Fullerton, but every beautiful detail overshadowed all of that. The light in the church shown through the stained glass windows so perfectly. God was smiling on us giving us perfect light just in time for some portraits of Todd & Alisa. My dear friend Karey Michelle was my second shooter and she rocked it as usual!
I have got to give props to Alisa’s dad. There is this house that’s just a stone’s throw from the church that Alisa has driven by for years on her way home. She could see that they had a barn in the backyard and thought it would be really cool to have some wedding photos taken there and in the City Hall elopement in San Francisco. So her dad knocked on their door one day to ask if Todd & Alisa could take pictures there. So, to Alisa’s dad….. a HUGE thank you! This back yard was a photographer’s dream! It felt like Knott’s Berry Farm with a little western front and everything! Then, they noticed that the barn people’s neighbor had a bunch of old cars, among them, an awesome Rolls Royce. So he asked if the man would mind picking Alisa up from their house around the corner and driving her to the church. And he said yes! A lesson I learned from this man…… it never hurts to ask!
Todd and Alisa’s reception was beautifully decorated with fall colors and green apples. Lascari’s provided made to order pasta dishes with the cooks making it right in front of each guest. So yummy. Many many twinkle lights and lanterns mad efor a simply magical evening.
Lana Meadows from Encore Events did a great job making sure everything ran smoothly.
Thank you so much, Todd & Alisa for inviting me into your lives. You guys are awesome!
Alisa’s beautiful dress that she got at The Dresser in downtown Fullerton.
I had some fun with the gals.
While Karey had some fun with the guys.
Todd gave Alisa a new bible with her new name on the cover. He wrote a sweet note to her that brought her to tears.
Amazing light.
The famous barn!
You two are so cute!
Karey got this great shot. See, doesn’t it look like Knott’s Berry Farm?
These little jars lined the path to the reception.
Where the dancin’ would be happening.
I loved the apples!
