Julie and I have known each other for a REALLY long time. Like almost another lifetime long time. I met her when we were both singing in choir about 15 years ago. Woah! My first trip to New York in 2001 was with her. We had many conversations about online dating and who we might match up well with. Julie was quickly one of those friends you can talk to about anything.
She and I inda lost contact over the past few years, so when she emailed me about her upcoming wedding I was beyond thrilled! The first thing I said to her when I saw her was, “How has it taken us this long to get together?” I think it had been over three years. WAY too long.
Julie and Dan’s wedding was the most beautiful backyard wedding I’ve ever seen. Such a gorgeous location and an even more special evening surrounded by their closest family and friends.
Cocktail hour in the front yard.
Ceremony and reception in the back.
Dan really doesn’t like being the center of attention. I mean REALLY doesn’t like it. Like we thought he was going to pass out a couple of times hates it.
This photo of him with his glass of water tells that story perfectly.
